Ibstone circular walk no.3
Start: Ibstone
Finish: Ibstone
Length: 12.07 km/ 7.5 miles
Weather: Sunny, spring day
This is a very similar walk to one I have completed before, with slight variations. It was the first time in a long while that I had done a walk in the Chilterns and it was good to be back, even if a section of it was very muddy!
Ibstone Common, near to where I started my walk.

Gray's Lane.

The view to the right of the Lane, looking across the Wormsley Estate.

Parts of this section were a little muddy so it was just easier to walk on Holloway Lane.

Looking across the fields from Holloway Lane to Churchfield Wood.

Looking back from where I had come from.

Turville Valley Farm.

The path climbing up into Churchfield Wood.

Just two women enjoying a pleasant ride and discussing the finer points of relationships, "I don't know what he has to offer me, other than recreational sex!"

The glorious Hambleden Valley from my lunchtime spot.

A slightly pixelated close-up of Cobstone Windmill.

A clearer shot of Cobstone Windmill on Turville Hill.

I took a left here, but straight on takes you to Fingest.

This section of the walk was not too bad, but further on the path was extremely muddy, a bit like chocolate milkshake.

I did not take this path, but thought they were nice enough pictures.

A clearing in Penley Wood.
