Coleshill circular walk no.2
Finish: As above
Length: 8.95 km / 5.56 miles
Weather: Hot and sunny.
I devised this circular walk from Coleshill, our new favourite place -- quick and easy to get to, quiet and a lovely place to have lunch, right in the middle of the village.
We followed the Chiltern Way for the first part of the walk and left the village by the footpath that passes the Red Lion pub.
The footpath across the fields towards the A355.
The A355 is behind us now.
Once we had crossed Bottom House Farm Lane, the scenery became very picturesque.
Unusual, twisty-tree-trunk in Hodgemoor Woods.
A narrow pathway between two hedgerows that links Bottom Lane with the A355.
The track that leads from Ongar Hill Farm to Little Luckings Wood.
