Cadmore End circular walk no. 3
Start: Cadmore End
Finish: Cadmore End
Length: 11.4 km/ 7 miles
Weather: Humid and sunny
I completed this walk on the Friday Bank Holiday of the Jubilee Weekend.
I parked my the road a short distance from Rackleys farm and followed this path into the wood.
After leaving the wood and walking through a pasture, the views of the Hambledon valley opened up.
After a short section of lane walking I walked up into Mousells Wood.
Near to Little Frieth, this guy blocked my way whilst he proved the grass was greener on the other side.
This was my lunchtime view, where I took advantage of a rare bench, even if it was very overgrown.
The path goes through this lovely meadow full of daisies, leading to Hills Wood.
This is the gate that takes you out of Great Wood.
Jubilee bunting on a cottage in Turville.
Looking back to the path I followed from Turville to Fingest.
Back to the field of wheat I had previously walked down at the start of my walk. One thing to bear in mind with the 3 walks that have started at Cadmore End, it always starts with a long downhill section, which means at the end os the walk you have to do that in reverse to get back to yur car.
