Feet First Walking

 

Most of this walk follows one Way or another (Wardens, Macmillan, Windrush and Monarchs).

We followed the Wardens Way, along the River Eye to Upper Slaughter.

 

 

Just by the church, looking down on the ford at Upper Slaughter.

 

After we left Upper Slaughter, there was a short section of lane walking and this is the view across the fields to Lower Slaughter.

 

We turned off the lane, on the right, to join the Macmillan Way.

 

Still on the Macmillan Way, shortly to join the Windrush Way.

 

After crossing the main road, we followed the Windrush Way into Bourton-on-the-Water.

Following the Monarchs Way out of Bourton, took us back to Lower Slaughter.
